Description
Reflex gauge glasses – Make liquid level readings easier
Make sure your factory floor workers can monitor fluid levels in boiler systems with ease. Ovictor Technical Glass has added reflex-type gauge glasses for sale to the catalog to help you with accurate liquid readings. Made of borosilicate glass 4.2, our measuring instruments are thermally toughened for non-aggressive and slightly aggressive media. The material is uniquely treated to extend the range of uses of our gauges and ensure compliance with the DIN 7081 standard.Elongated in shape, our reflex gauges come with grooves etched in their structure. These grooves allow light waves to pass through the glass and media to increase the refractive index. You can then obtain real-time readings of the liquid content in a chamber using specialized equipment or while in front of the gauges.
Depending on your requirements, you can buy reflex sight glasses with only one, four, or five grooves per gauge. They are available in Type A, Type B, and Type H series and measure up to 400mm in length. The exposed surface and dimensions vary by series, but they all comply with DIN 7081.
Highly resistant reflex glasses for optimal visibility
As they are thermally protected, our reflection gauge glasses can resist temperatures of up to 245°C when exposed to steam water and 400˚C in less aggressive environments. They boast high mechanical strength and can survive pressure applications of up to 400 bar without affecting the accuracy of readings. But note that you can’t use Mica protection for the reflex glass of a gauge. That means corrosion can occur if you expose the measuring instrument to media with high pH values, such as acids and alkaline solutions. With our glass, keeping an eye on fluid levels is a snap even in high-temperature applications thanks to:
- excellent visibility enhanced by grooves
- material transparency
- cleanability
- reusability
Our quality control processes ensure the surface of reflex gauge glasses is free from blisters, streaks, inclusions, and other defects that may make readings harder to get. You can install them into proper fittings to start monitoring liquid levels right off the bat.
Safe individual packaging
It’s our responsibility as a reflex gauge glass manufacturer to deliver every piece to you safely. That’s why we use individual packaging to protect the products from defects en route. Gauges are then placed into cardboard boxes (for small orders). And if you find any damaged pieces after unpacking, we’ll replace them with new ones at no charge. If you order reflex level gauges in bulk, you can opt for wooden packaging instead of cardboard boxes for extra protection (no fumigation is included). We can also add any markings or logos to the glass pieces and packaging of your choice.
Ovictor Technical Glass gauges are currently used in industrial facilities in the USA, the UK, Europe, and Asia. Our pieces are synonymous with superior quality, but there’s another way we can prove it to you. Request a free reflective glass gauge sample by leaving your inquiry!
