Description

Sight Glass Disc with wiper hole is also named sight glass with wiper and circular glass lens with wiper, which is made from orosilicate glass DIN 7080 Soda lima glass DIN 8902 (max.150°C). It is used to observe and illuminate the interior of closed pressure vessels like tanks, silos and other similar installations. The wiper system is used to keep glass plates free of crystallized mediums, dust and dirt sediments. The wiper blade can be made from silicon (max working temperature 180° C) and PTFE (max working temperature 200° C).
